Harvest

Rating: 6
Genre: Adult Drama
Time: 1:43
Starring: Robert Loggia

We rushed to see this one because it was reviewed favorably and promised to come and go rather quickly at the local theatre. No sex, no graphic violence, no crude humor, and just a few cuss words. So its box office potential seems low.

The setting is a small seaside town where a family gathers for a final summer as the patriarch (Loggia) is reaching the end of the line. It wouldn't have been a movie at all if there wasn't some conflict among his three children and grandson, but it is handled in a reasonable way. The main characters are believable and the film moves from scene to scene at a good pace.
