The Las Vegas gang that created all sorts of mayhem two years ago is back again, this time in Thailand. Ed Helms' character has fallen in love with a Far East beauty, so the merry band of revelers have taken their act to Bangkok. They should have stayed in California. And not made another movie. I, like millions of others, fell for the hype and wish I'd been elsewhere, anywhere than watching this movie.
This remake was more like a rehash with the same jokes, scenarios, and story telling sequences. The characters were more obnoxious and unlikeable than before. Cooper is annoying and Galifianakis is just plain weird (as in "not amusing.")The story was unoriginal, unfunny, and TOTALLY unbelievable. There were about three total laughs during the whole movie, thus the rating.
The Hangover II is not even worth a rental...don't waste your time.
