Another screen version of the notable romance novel by Charlotte Bronte. Most critics gave it a thumbs up. Two relatively obscure actors play the lead roles of the plain and impassive Jane and her emerging lover, Mr. Rochester. Except for those who like this type of Victorian literary drama, it's not a film likely to attract a very large box office.
