Rating: 7
Time: 1:30
Starring: Catherine Keener, Oliver Platt, Amanda Peet
Genre: Mature Audience, Comedy, Drama

This movie recieved four stars in the local paper. It's a quickly-moving, interesting story but not likely to garner much of an audience at the box office. Keener and Platt are a married couple in business together selling furniture purchased from the recently deceased. They have an angst-ridden teen-aged daughter who has trouble understanding why her mother wants to drop 20 dollar bills in the hands of street people and balks at buying her 200 dollar jeans. Other important roles are played by a young woman caring for her irascible 91-year-old grandmother living in an apartment. Amanda Peet adds a bit of spice as the less caring other grandaughter of the old lady. The movie has some dramatic segments as well as occasional humor.
