After crude and unfunny losers like The Hangover-Bosses duo, this one is a welcome relief, and the all-star cast doesn't hurt. The humor is softer, the story line is a bit more plausible, and the characters are more likeaable. Carell is dumped by Moore after 25 years of marriage. He connects with Gosling who schools him in the are of how to pick up women. Later on, Gosling falls in love with Carell's daughter (Stone) and Carell doesn't like the match up at all.
The movie could have used a different title.
