Plummer, after his wife's death, comes out of the closet and establishes a loving relationship with a young man. Plummer's son (McGregor) attempts to deal with his father's new life, which is complicated by terminal cancer. McGregor's own issues of commitment to a new girlfriend are a secondary part of the story.
The reviewers loved this one. I found it a bit boring and slow moving. Call me insensitive, but it had little entertainment value and I couldn't wait for it to end.
