Deneuve is the dutiful housewife of a tyrant who manages his household as he does his manufacturing business. Ultimately, his workers strike and take him hostage. She seized this opportunity to make big changes. She takes over his company, makes it more worker-friendly, and eventually runs for political office. Depardieu is the union leader who has a bit of history with Deneuve. This is a breezy comedy and easy to watch. Deneuve is a grand lady of the screen, now 68, who has managed to retain some of her sex appeal.
