Billed as a female version of "The Hangover," it has some of the same ingredients: explicit sex, raunchy dialogue, zany antics by the wedding party. Wiig gives a humorous performance as a character whose life is slowly headed for the dumpster. She is the maid of honor and finds herself engaged in competition with Byrne, the more sophisticated of the bridesmaids. The others are unique and "interesting:" providing spice to the film. Some of the humor is over the top, but the movie is good fun and quite watchable. There is more to it than just the wild and crazy stuff leading to the wedding, especially in the development of Wiig's character.
