DeNiro is a prison parole officer and Norton an inmate convicted of arson. The movie is built around a series of interrogations to determine if Norton is ready for release. The sexy Jovovich, wife of Norton, works on seducing DeNiro through several acts - they have hours of encounters. The story is complicated by background historical issues, some of which I’m still trying to put in place. Was expecting to like the movie better than I did, but it was still worth sticking with until the end.
