Holbrook is an 80-year-old escapee from a nursing home who goes back to his Tennessee farm only to find that his son has rented it to a local ne'er-do-well who has no intentions of leaving. The renter has been surviving for 10 years on disability checks from the government, although he does not appear to be disabled. Holbrook carries around a lot of bitterness, and he makes no effort to hide his distaste for the younger man, especially when he becomes abusive towards his wife and 16-year-old daughter. The confrontations between the two men are often tense. The movie is a good story, and the characters are portrayed in a believable way. The ending could have had a bit more clarity, but it's a movie worth watching.
