Plot: The movie revolves around the hunted (famed bank robber John Dillinger) and hunter (relentless FBI agent Melvin Pervis). Dillingers' felonies took place in the Depression Era of the early 1930's and the man became something of a folk hero to many of the Era's losers, who apparently took perverse pleasure in seeing banks get looted. I had hoped the movie would play up this interesting aspect. But, instead, we mostly got a series of incredible Houdini-like escapes by Dillinger from the clutches of the FBI and one scene after anotherof rapid fire gun play. It would be impossible to tally up the number of bodies left riddled with bullet holesl
