Lymelife

Starring: Rory Culkin, Alec Baldwin, Jill Hennessy, Timothy Hutton, Cynthia Nixon, Emma Roberts

Genre: Adult Drama

Rating: 5

Plot: If you're looking for an uplifting experience, avoid this one. Alec Baldwin is a real estate developer insensitive to his unhappy wife (Hennessey) and teen aged son (Culkin). Hutton is a sad neighbor with Lyme disease whose wife (Nixon) is having an affair with Balwin. The movie is set on Lond Island in 1979. Mbmers of this superb cast do their job well. One of the focal points is Culkin's heavy crush on Hutton's daughter (Roberts) which seems unlikely to be fulfilled. Hollywood doesn't exactly plow new ground with a theme of dysfunctional suburbon married couples, but I was interested enough to stick around to see how things turned out.
