Here is another of those dysfunctional Hollywood families who sit around the dinner table yelling at each other. The father (Garcia) is a prison guard who has a secret yen to be an actor. Wife Margulies just seems like one of those serially unhappy married women. The daughter has dropped out of college to be a stripper. And the son has some sort of fetish for fat girls. Enter a young con Garcia brings home to help with a backyard building project.
Because of the cast, I had hope this would be a good movie. It wasn’t.
