Me and Orson Welles

Rating: 5
Running Time: 1:50
Starring: Christian McKay, Zac Efron, Claire Danes
Genre: Mature Audience, Drama, Documentary

McKay looks like Orson Wells and talks like him. You don't have any trouble imagining Welles was just like this in his early "budding genius" years. The movie is all about his theatre troupe as they rehearse for "Julius Ceasar" at the Mercury Theatre in 1937, Zac Efron is the focal point as a stage-struck youngster who lands a role in the play. It was disappointing that the movie didn't progress into Welles' subsequent successes such as the radio broadcast of "War of the Worlds," which scared the life out of its listeners, and the movie classic "Citizen Kane." The movie is unlikely to score big at the box office. I found it only mildly interesting.
