Tense drama. Mortensen is professor co-opted by Nazis. Relationship between him and Jewish friend(Isaacs) deteriorates as it becomes obvious that Mortensen accepts his compormising posture. The 1938 "Night of Broken Glass" when Jews are rounded up is one defining moment and Mortensen's visit to a "Nazi resettlement" camp is another one later in the war. This movie may be difficult to find.
