Norton is given the unenviable job of heading an investigation when four New York cops are killed in an apparent drug raid. Evidence leads to his brother and brother-in-law, and wholesale corruption is exposed. Voight plays the patriarch father-cop whose main concern is protecting the family reputation. Tense drama that will rivet your attention. However a blizzard of gratuitous violence at the end strained credulity.
