Wilson buys home and tells everybody he "won't be here long". We learn he has been diagnosed with an incurable illness.. Not to give away the ending, but neighbors see vision of Christ on the outer wall of his house, and "miracle" happens. Role of attractive lady next door is not insignificant.
Some will find it inspirational, others hokey.
